Technology platform Cirk Arena z.s.

Who we are
Our platform was created as a response to the challenges facing the entire plastics production, processing and recycling chain. We are building a national centre of competence for the circular economy and we decided to respond to the current situation. Everyone in this chain of plastics production, consumption and recycling needs to answer basic questions:

Which materials to use and which to avoid in light of the new legislation?

What are the limits and opportunities for plastics recycling? Where is the future of recycling technologies for engineering plastics heading? What is the future direction for plastics plastics plastics? What to invest in and based on what criteria?

How to be prepared for customer requirements in the chain? What do they want and will they want? What certifications?

What about new materials such as bioplastics, biocomposites? Does it make sense to look at them, for which applications?

Questions like these will increase, as will new regulations.
That’s why we are here!
We are a group of experts who have already addressed these questions, have experience with them and know how to implement the new legislation in practice.
How can we help you?
1 Getting to grips with the new legislation is essential. There are thousands of pages of documents, but they are all aimed at the same goal. To decouple growth from the consumption of primary raw materials. And we will be your guide to what this means for you. We have plenty of time to prepare, but there’s no way to wait. We’ll help you. We’ll even show you examples from the country that have already done it.
2 For everything in the future you will need evidence for your claims. Having evidence means knowing what needs to be done (e.g. Design for Recyling) and finding ways to meet the necessary requirements. You will most likely need contract research and expert services to prepare for certified outcomes and invest the necessary resources really effectively.
3 How new investments are now being assessed – not only on the basis of demand – but also on the basis of the EU Taxonomy.
4 What subsidies will help cover your needs – especially innovation vouchers, which can cover up to 75% of the costs. And these can be followed up with additional funds for investment.
