CirkArena

An important step in the preparations for the implementation of CirkArena took place on 29.2.2024, when the project received unequivocal support and was recommended by the Regional Standing Conference for further evaluation. The CirkArena project is thus moving into the final approval phase, which is represented by the selection committee of the Operational Programme Just Transformation, which is expected to meet in the coming weeks. In parallel with the process of applying for European support, all preparatory steps and project preparation are continuing.

CirkArena is one of the strategic projects of the Operational Programme Just Transformation for the Moravian-Silesian Region. It represents the creation of a new scientific and research infrastructure that will materialise solutions to the topic of circular economy in the region. The project is being prepared under the auspices of the MMV in cooperation with ten other partners from the public, R&D and non-profit sectors.

Currently, the project is entering a key phase of construction and technical preparation, i.e. a tender for suppliers in the form of Design&Build is being prepared. This is currently connected with the so-called preliminary market consultations, the aim of which is to verify the current market prices of construction works for the upcoming tender. On this basis, a Design&Build tender will subsequently be issued during spring 2024.
