CirkArena connects research, education, and public-benefit activities with the aim of promoting sustainable development and a circular approach in both industry and everyday life. Over the next three years, it will offer a series of meetings, workshops, and events for pupils, students, and the general public.
One of these is the university festival Art & Science, which will take place on Thursday, 4 September 2025, from 9:00 to 19:00 at the VSB-TUO campus (Building C, in front of the roundabout). Since 2015, the festival has been bringing together science and art in an inspiring atmosphere.
The morning programme will focus on interactive demonstrations, experiments, and workshops, while in the afternoon the campus will transform into a space filled with art, music, and creative activities.
CirkArena will be featured through Ferzom Ceramics – a unique demonstration of using waste materials in glaze production. The research is led by Assoc. Prof. Hana Ovčačíková, Ph.D.
