One of these opportunities was the University Festival Art & Science, held on 4 September 2025 at the VSB–TUO campus. Since 2015, the festival has been bringing together the worlds of science and art, creating an inspiring space for encounters between experts, students, and the public.
At the festival, CirkArena presented the Ferzom Ceramics research, led by Assoc. Prof. Hana Ovčačíková, Ph.D., focused on the use of waste materials in glaze production. Visitors had the chance to experience a unique connection between science, sustainability, and innovation – the very core of the project.
Participation in the festival was not only an opportunity to showcase research results but also to demonstrate that the circular economy can be inspiring and accessible to all generations.
We would like to thank VSB – Technical University of Ostrava for the excellent organisation and the opportunity to be part of an event that opens science to everyone.
